In a key administrative move, Neeraj Kharwal, a 2007 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new Managing Director (MD) of the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO). He takes charge of the nodal trade promotion agency responsible for managing the Pragati Maidan complex and organizing trade fairs both domestically and internationally.
