In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Maharashtra government has reassigned over two dozen IAS officers across key departments and districts. G Sreekanth has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Jal Jeevan Mission in Navi Mumbai, while Deelip Swami takes charge as Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation in Akola. Varsha Thakur-Ghuge has been named Joint CEO of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Mumbai.
Several district-level and municipal appointments have also been announced. Deepak Singla assumes the role of Commissioner, MGNREGS in Nagpur, while Dr Rajendra Bharud has been posted as Municipal Commissioner of Kolhapur. Dr Pravinkumar Deore and Dr Bharat Bastewad have been appointed as Collectors of Buldhana and Latur respectively. Key civic roles include Varsha Ladda as Municipal Commissioner of Amravati and Amol Yedge in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
Further strengthening local governance, multiple officers have been posted as Collectors and CEOs of Zilla Parishads across districts such as Nagpur, Chandrapur, Solapur, Jalna, and Kolhapur. These appointments aim to enhance administrative efficiency and accelerate development initiatives across Maharashtra.
