Ms Vineetha Ottapurakkal Kallada has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi. Her appointment has been made for a tenure of four years.
Vineetha Kallada is a 2014-batch officer of the Indian Statistical Service (ISS). With her new role at the NHRC, she is expected to contribute to policy coordination and administrative functions related to human rights governance in the country.
The appointment reflects the government’s continued focus on strengthening institutional administration within the National Human Rights Commission.
