The Tamil Nadu government has issued fresh transfer and posting orders for six IPS officers, reshuffling key positions in traffic management, district policing and women and child safety wings.
Senior IPS officer Dr P K Senthil Kumari has been appointed Inspector General of Police, Traffic and Road Safety. Dongare Umesh has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Thiruchirapalli district.
In another key posting, V Shyamala Devi has been appointed SP-II, Crime Against Women and Children, Chennai. Meanwhile, Akshay Anil Wakhare has been promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police and posted as SP, Thirupathur district.
Additionally, Dr V Lalith Kumar has also been elevated to the rank of SP and posted as Superintendent of Police, Perambalur district. The latest IPS reshuffle is aimed at strengthening law enforcement and administrative efficiency across Tamil Nadu.
