Tamil Nadu IAS Reshuffle: Key bureaucratic changes across major Departments

The Tamil Nadu government has carried out a significant IAS reshuffle, assigning senior officers to crucial administrative roles across industries, planning, taxation, welfare, transport, fisheries, labour and urban development departments.

Senior IAS officer Sandeep Nanduri has been appointed as Special Secretary, Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Department, while Sandhya Venugopal Sharma takes charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department.

In other appointments, J Kumaragurubaran has been posted as Secretary, Commercial Taxes, Registration and Religious Endowments Department, and V Shobana becomes Commissioner of Textiles. G Prakash has been named Principal Secretary/Additional Commissioner, Revenue Administration, while Shilpa Prabhakar Satish takes over as Commissioner of Labour.

The reshuffle also includes the appointment of Kiran Gurrala as Commissioner of Town and Country Planning and Dr K Vijayakarthikeyan as Director of Fisheries. Mageswari Ravikumar has been posted as Director of Social Welfare, while Dr K Senthil Raj becomes Director of Adi Dravidar Welfare.

Further, D Bhaskara Pandian has been appointed Director of Transport and Road Safety and G Ravikumar takes charge as Collector of Tirupathur district. T Charushree has been named Director of Treasuries and Accounts, while Asha Ajith will serve as Director of Environment and Climate Change.

Meanwhile, T Christuraj has been posted as Director of Survey and Settlement. D Karthikeyan takes over as Principal Secretary/CMD of Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation, and T G Vinay has been appointed Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation.

Among other major postings, Dr S Aneesh Shekhar has been appointed Managing Director of NHM, R V Shajeevana becomes COO of the Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project, while S A Raman has been shifted as Managing Director of the State Industries Promotion Corporation.
