In a major career advancement for the state bureaucracy, 14 officers of the Bihar State Civil Service (SCS) have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) against the Select List of 2025 and allotted the Bihar cadre. The officers elevated to the prestigious All India Service include Mrinayak Das, Manoranjan Kumar, Vikash Kumar, Dr. Gagan, Md Ejtaba Hussain, Bidhu Bhushan Choudhary, Rajnish Kumar, Md Wasim Ahmad, Krityanand Ranjan, Md Rashid Alam, Ibrar Ahmad Khan, Manoj Kumar, and Hemant Kumar Singh. The promotions recognize their contributions to public administration and further strengthen the IAS cadre in Bihar.
