ACC approves key Secretary-Level appointments in Environment and Land Resources Departments

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the following Secretary-level appointments:

Narendra Bhooshan, IAS (UP:1992), Secretary, Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development, has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. He will succeed Tanmay Kumar, IAS (RJ:1993), upon his superannuation on September 30, 2026.

Dilip Kumar, IAS (PB:1995), Director General (Training), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development. He will succeed Narendra Bhooshan following his appointment as Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
