Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit has assumed charge as the Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC) at the Headquarters in New Delhi. A distinguished officer of the Indian Air Force, he takes over from Lt Gen JP Mathew and will be instrumental in enhancing tri-service coordination and strategic planning.
