Air Marshal S P Dharkar has been appointed IAF Vice Chief.
With a distinguished career spanning several decades, Air Marshal Dharkar has held key command and staff positions within the IAF.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in various operational, training, and strategic initiatives, contributing significantly to enhancing the capabilities of the Indian Air Force. Known for his leadership and expertise in air defense and operations, Air Marshal Dharkar has commanded critical airbases and played a pivotal role in advancing the IAF’s modernization programs.
His experience and contributions in both operational and administrative roles have earned him recognition within the defense establishment. As Vice Chief, he is expected to further strengthen the strategic framework of the IAF, working closely with the newly appointed Air Chief, Air Marshal A P Singh.
