Amandeep Garg, a 1999 batch IAS officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre, currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, has been given additional charge as Chairman, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). He will hold the position until a regular appointee is named.
