Amit Anand has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Forests (DIGF) in the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MOEFCC), New Delhi. His appointment is on a tenure deputation basis under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) until January 3, 2029. He is a 2010 batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer.
