The Chhattisgarh government has appointed Amitabh Jain as the Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of the state. A retired IAS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, Amitabh Jain brings vast administrative experience to the role. His appointment is aimed at further strengthening transparency, accountability, and good governance in the state.
