Senior bureaucrat Bhuvnesh Kumar has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). A 1995 batch IAS officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, Kumar will assume this crucial role in the rank of Additional Secretary, overseeing the nation’s flagship identity program.
