Patna: The Bihar government has effected a minor administrative reshuffle involving several IAS officers, assigning new responsibilities and additional charges across key departments.
Navin Kumar (IAS:2011), Special Secretary, Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department, has been given the additional charge of Managing Director, Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA). He is already holding additional charge as Secretary-in-charge, Information and Public Relations Department, and Managing Director, Bihar State Beverages Corporation.
Kundan Kumar, Secretary, Industry Department, has been relieved of the additional charge of Managing Director, BIADA.
Vivek Ranjan Maitrey (IAS:2017) has been transferred from Additional Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department, and appointed Director, Sports. State Transport Commissioner Arif Ahsan has been relieved of the additional charge of the post.
Meanwhile, Anil Kumar (IAS:2017) has been shifted from Director, Information and Public Relations and appointed Managing Director, Bihar State Building Construction Corporation Limited. He had also been holding additional charge as Managing Director, Bihar State Samvad Samiti.
Abhishek Palasia (IAS:2020) has been transferred from Joint Secretary, Road Construction Department, and appointed Managing Director, Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited.
In another assignment, Shrikant Kundalik Khandekar, Joint Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, has been given the additional charge of Joint Secretary, Industry Department, until further orders.
