Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Kandla, has set a new benchmark by handling 150.15 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo in FY 2024-25, reclaiming its position as India’s top major port. With a 13% year-on-year growth, DPA leads all Indian ports in cargo throughput.
To celebrate, the port organized events for employees and distributed food kits to 4,500 workers. Chairman Sushil Kumar Singh praised stakeholders for their contributions to this historic achievement.
