New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Deepali Masirkar, IPS (NL:2008), as Executive Director (Security) in Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
According to the official order dated October 21, 2026, the ACC has also approved the curtailment of her central deputation tenure as Director in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
Her combined tenure will extend up to May 3, 2029, from the date of assuming charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
She will succeed Baljit Singh, IPS (JH:1996), as Executive Director (Security) at ONGC.
The approval follows a proposal from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, referenced in its communication dated September 8, 2026.
