In a significant administrative development, the Chhattisgarh government has conferred Junior Administrative Grade (JAG), equivalent to Joint Secretary level, on five IAS officers of the 2017 batch. The officers elevated to the JAG rank are Akash Chhikara, Rohit Vyas, Mayank Chaturvedi, Kunal Dudawat, and Chandrakant Verma.
