Four 2017-Batch ICAS officers elevated to Junior Administrative Grade (JAG)

New Delhi, July 31, 2026: In a significant career advancement within the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS), four officers of the 2017 batch have been promoted to the Junior Administrative Grade (JAG), effective January 1, 2027.

The officers elevated to the JAG are:

  • Anang Rawat, Assistant Controller General of Accounts, Office of the Controller General of Accounts, New Delhi
  • Madan Singh, Deputy Controller of Accounts, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi
  • Priyanka Nashine, Deputy Controller of Accounts, Ministry of Power, New Delhi
  • Ashutosh Singh, Deputy Controller of Accounts, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi

The promotion reflects the officers’ professional contributions and administrative expertise in strengthening India’s public financial management framework. Their elevation is expected to enhance leadership capacity across key government departments and further improve financial governance and accountability.
