The Tamil Nadu government has assigned new responsibilities to four senior IAS officers in a fresh administrative reshuffle. Senior bureaucrat N Muruganandam has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary and Commissioner of Revenue Administration and Disaster Management. M A Siddique has taken charge as Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, while Dr S Swarna has been posted as Principal Secretary, Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments Department. In another important posting, K Nanthakumar has been appointed Managing Director of Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC). The latest reshuffle is aimed at strengthening governance and administrative efficiency in the state.
