In a fresh administrative reshuffle in Bihar, four IAS officers have been assigned new roles across key departments. Robert L Chongthu has been posted as Principal Secretary, Minority Welfare, while Gopal Meena has been appointed Secretary to the Governor. Mohd Sohel will now serve as Secretary, General Administration Department, and Shailendra Kumar has been named the new District Collector of Lakhisarai.
The latest transfers are aimed at strengthening governance and administrative efficiency across the state’s important institutional and district-level positions.
