The Tamil Nadu government has implemented a fresh round of IPS postings:
Pramod Kumar has been appointed as DGP/Director of Civil Defence and Commandant General, Home Guards, Chennai.
Mrs Jeyashri will take charge as Inspector General, State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB).
Ayush Mani Tiwari assumes the role of Additional DGP/Chief Vigilance Officer at TANGEDCO (Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd.).
Dr V Varun Kumar has been posted as DIG, Crime Branch, CID, Chennai.
These changes are expected to enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness in the state’s policing system.
