Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has issued a firm clarification regarding misleading reports that negotiations with General Electric (GE) for the indigenous production of GE414 engines had stalled. HAL affirmed that discussions are progressing positively and that no alternate talks are underway with other manufacturers for LCA MK2 engine supplies. The company reiterated its commitment to the GE partnership and dismissed the circulating misinformation as baseless.
