Haryana Government reshuffles IPS officers

Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has ordered a reshuffle of several Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, assigning them new responsibilities across various police and specialised units in the state.

As part of the latest changes, Lokender Singh, IPS (2014 batch), has been posted as Superintendent of Police (SP), SCB (H). His batchmate Surinder Singh Bhoria has been appointed as Commandant, 5th Battalion, Haryana Armed Police (HAP), Madhuban.

Narendra Bijarniya, IPS (2015 batch), has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 1st India Reserve Battalion (IRB), Bhondsi.

Meanwhile, Varun Singh, IPS (2017 batch), has been appointed as SP, CID Security (H). He will also hold the additional charge of SP, ATS.

In another important posting, Medha Bhushan, IPS (2019 batch), has been appointed as SP, Panipat.

The reshuffle also includes Deepti Garg, IPS (2020 batch), who has been posted as SP, Panipat. Anil Kumar, Haryana Police Service, has been appointed as SP, HSNCB, Karnal.

Further, Vikrant Bhushan, IPS (2017 batch), has been transferred and posted as SP, HSNCB, Panchkula.

Amit Yashvardhan, IPS (2018 batch), presently serving as SP, Security, CID, will also hold the additional charge of SP, Commando, Newal.

The latest reshuffle brings changes across key assignments involving CID, ATS, security, armed police, IRB and specialised units in Haryana.
