Senior IAS officer V. Hekali Zhimomi has been given additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, National Health Authority (NHA). The central government has granted ex-post facto approval for this role for a period of six months beginning May 22.
Zhimomi is a 1996 batch IAS officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre and currently serves as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
