Senior administrator Vikash Gupta, a 2001-batch IAS officer of the Haryana cadre, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). He will now lead the organization responsible for managing the central government schools across India, overseeing policy and administration for the vast network of Kendriya Vidyalayas.
