Indian Railways approves Introduction of Two MEMU Services connecting Meerut City with Khurja and Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh

• New MEMU Services to Strengthen Regional Rail Connectivity; Trains to Serve All Enroute Stations

Indian Railways has approved the introduction of two MEMU services connecting Meerut City with Khurja and Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The services will operate as Train No. 64573/64574 Khurja-Meerut City MEMU and Train No. 64580/64579 Saharanpur-Meerut City MEMU.

Khurja-Meerut City MEMU:

Train No. 64573 Khurja-Meerut City MEMU will depart from Khurja at 13:15 hrs and arrive at Meerut City at 17:20 hrs, covering the journey in 4 hours 5 minutes.

In the return direction, Train No. 64574 Meerut City-Khurja MEMU will depart from Meerut City at 11:25 hrs and reach Khurja at 16:00 hrs, covering the journey in 4 hours 35 minutes.

The service will have commercial stoppages at all enroute stations, providing connectivity to passengers across the section.

Saharanpur-Meerut City MEMU:

Train No. 64580 Saharanpur-Meerut City MEMU will depart from Saharanpur at 05:50 hrs and arrive at Meerut City at 08:10 hrs, completing the journey in 2 hours 20 minutes.

In the opposite direction, Train No. 64579 Meerut City-Saharanpur MEMU will depart from Meerut City at 17:45 hrs and reach Saharanpur at 20:40 hrs, with a journey time of 2 hours 55 minutes.

This service will also have commercial stoppages at all enroute stations.

The two services will provide additional travel options for passengers and strengthen regional rail connectivity centred around Meerut City.
