Akshay Sachdeva, a 1991 batch IPS officer of the Sikkim cadre, has been appointed as the Director General of Police (DGP) and Head of the Police Force in Sikkim. Sachdeva is known for his administrative acumen and deep understanding of policing in the region, making him well-suited to lead Sikkim’s police force.
