Kush Desai, an Indian-American former journalist, has been appointed as the deputy press secretary by US President Donald Trump. With a strong background in political communications, he has held key roles such as Deputy Communications Director for the 2024 Republican National Convention and Communications Director for the Republican Party of Iowa. Desai is a Dartmouth graduate and has worked with the Republican National Committee.
