Lt Gen Pratik Sharma takes charge of Northern Army command

Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma has taken over as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the prestigious Northern Command. A 1987-batch officer from the MADRAS Regiment, he is a seasoned leader and alumnus of premier defence institutions including NDA, IMA, and DSSC. His appointment places him at the helm of operations in a strategically crucial region.
