Major appointments of Governors and Chief Justices announced across states

In a significant wave of high-level appointments, Ashim Kumar Ghosh has been named the new Governor of Haryana, while former Union Minister Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju takes over as the Governor of Goa, bringing his political and administrative experience to the coastal state.

In the judicial landscape, a reshuffle of Chief Justices has been carried out across various High Courts. Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court, and Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva will now helm the Madhya Pradesh High Court.

Justice Shriram Kalpathi Rajendran has taken charge as the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court, while Justice Ashutosh Kumar has been named the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court.

Further, Justice Vipul Manubhai Pancholi has been appointed as the Chief Justice of Patna High Court, and Justice MS Ramachandra Rao has assumed the role of Chief Justice of Tripura High Court. In southern India, Justice MM Shrivastava now leads the Madras High Court, and Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh takes over as the Chief Justice of Telangana High Court, marking a comprehensive reshaping of judicial leadership across the nation.
