Meeta R Lochan, a 1990 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre, has been appointed as Secretary to the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC). Bringing decades of administrative experience, she will now play a key role in policy matters related to social justice and backward class welfare.
