The Government of India has announced the appointment of several distinguished individuals as Judicial Members of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT). The newly appointed Judicial Members include Mrs. Debjani Mitra Neogy, Rajani Guduri, Kuldip Singh, Tapas Ram Misra, Sanjay Kumar, and Rajesh Damodarlal Sharma.
These appointments are part of the government’s continued efforts to strengthen the functioning of the ITAT and ensure the timely disposal of tax-related appeals. With the addition of these experienced members, the Tribunal is expected to further enhance its efficiency and uphold transparency in the adjudication of tax disputes across India.
