The Tamil Nadu government has made key changes in its administrative setup, assigning new responsibilities to two IAS officers. Mangat Ram Sharma has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Public Works Department (PWD), while J Jayakanthan will now serve as Secretary of the Water Resources Department, taking on a crucial role in managing the state’s water infrastructure.
