Referring to India’s recent Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), the Prime Minister encouraged States to create new opportunities for young entrepreneurs and MSMEs while attracting investments from partner countries. He also stressed the importance of promoting export-oriented growth through the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative and urged States to tap emerging opportunities in defence manufacturing.
Highlighting women-led development, PM Modi called for expanding the successful Lakhpati Didi initiative and creating a safer ecosystem for women across the country. He further emphasized the growing significance of sectors such as artificial intelligence, data centres, and advanced technologies, urging States to equip citizens with future-ready skills to remain competitive in the evolving global economy.
The Prime Minister also drew attention to emerging social concerns, including cyber fraud and drug abuse, and advocated coordinated preventive measures and awareness campaigns. On environmental issues, he urged States to strengthen water conservation efforts and promote natural farming practices in view of possible El Niño-related challenges.
During the meeting, Chief Ministers, Lieutenant Governors, and Administrators congratulated PM Modi on completing 12 years in office and reiterated their support for strengthening India’s resilience against global geopolitical and energy-related challenges.
