NMDC Limited, India’s largest iron ore producer, has reported its best-ever Q1 physical performance in its FY26 financial results.
Production: 11.99 MT (up 30% YoY from 9.19 MT)
Sales: 11.52 MT (up 14% YoY from 10.07 MT)
Turnover: Rs. 6,634 crore (up 23% from Rs. 5,378 crore in Q1 FY25)
Profit Before Tax (PBT): Rs. 2,644 crore
EBITDA: Rs. 2,777 crore
CMD Amitava Mukherjee credited the growth to operational excellence, strategic decision-making, and the adoption of advanced technologies. He reaffirmed NMDC’s commitment to supporting India’s steel sector and its 2030 vision.
