Ramesh C. Mohapatra, currently serving as General Manager in the Jhanjra Area of Eastern Coalfields Limited, has been chosen to be the next Director (Technical) of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL).
His selection came following an interview process conducted by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on May 2, 2025, in which ten candidates participated. Mohapatra’s elevation reflects his technical acumen and leadership in coal sector operations.
