Ravi Ranjan has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the State Bank of India (SBI), marking a key leadership change at India’s largest public sector bank. He succeeds Vinay M. Tonse, who retired from the position in November. Ravi Ranjan’s appointment is expected to further strengthen SBI’s strategic direction and operational leadership in the banking sector.
