REC reports record net profit of Rs. 15,713 crore for FY’25

REC Limited has posted robust financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, registering a record standalone net profit of Rs. 15,713 crore—up 12% from the previous year. Disbursements rose to Rs. 1.91 lakh crore, and total income climbed to Rs. 55,980 crore, a 19% increase YoY.

The company’s Net Interest Income also surged by 27%, while its net credit-impaired assets dropped significantly to 0.38% following the resolution of Rs. 6,171 crore in impaired assets.

With a healthy Capital Adequacy Ratio of 25.99% and a growing asset base of Rs. 5.66 lakh crore, REC has declared a final dividend of Rs. 2.60 per share, bringing the total FY25 dividend to Rs. 18 per share.

Strong earnings performance also boosted the EPS to Rs. 59.55, reinforcing REC’s position as a key player in India’s power finance sector.
