Senior Indian Railway Protection Force Service (IRPFS) officer Sarvapriya Mayank has been promoted to the rank of Additional Director General (Addl. DG) in the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Prior to this elevation, he was serving as Inspector General (Headquarters) at the Railway Board. With this new role at the RPF, Mayank will continue to contribute his leadership and expertise to the central operations of railway security under the Railway Board.
