Seven senior accounts officers promoted as Assistant Controllers of accounts and assigned to key ministries

In a recent administrative development, seven Senior Accounts Officers from the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) have been elevated to the Junior Time Scale rank of Assistant Controller of Accounts (ACA) and assigned new roles across prominent ministries.

Following their promotion, J. Raghuraman has been posted to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in Delhi. Ms. Rajni Dhawan will now serve in the Ministry of Education, while Ms. M. R. Pushpalata takes over her new responsibilities at the Ministry of Agriculture, both in Delhi.

In parallel postings, Naresh Kumar Gupta has been assigned to SRTH, Surender Kumar to the Ministry of Commerce, and Ajay Kumar will now serve with the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), all based in Delhi. Notably, D. S. Yadav will continue to serve in the Office of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA).

These promotions are part of a structured career progression under the ICAS framework and come with the objective of strengthening financial governance in various ministries.
