Shailendra Kumar Sinha has been promoted to the position of Chief Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes (CCIT) in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) for the panel year 2024.
This promotion is effective from July 1, 2024, on a notional basis. Following his elevation, Sinha has been assigned to the Guwahati GST & CX Zone, where he will take on his new responsibilities.
