Six IAS officers get new key assignments in Punjab

The Government of Punjab has issued new postings for six IAS officers, marking a fresh wave of administrative reshuffles across the state.

Vishesh Sarangal has been appointed as Special Secretary and Director, Department of Good Governance and Information Technology, and CEO, Punjab State e-Governance Society. Mrs. Sakshi Sahni takes charge as Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), SAS Nagar.

Aditya Uppal assumes duties as Deputy Commissioner (DC), Gurdaspur, while Palvi joins as DC, Pathankot, with additional charge as Commissioner, Pathankot Municipal Corporation. Dalwinderjit Singh becomes DC, Amritsar, and Harpreet Singh has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation Department, also holding additional charges in the Power and New & Renewable Energy Sources departments.

These appointments aim to strengthen administrative governance and improve coordination across Punjab’s key development sectors.
