In a fresh bureaucratic reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu government has reassigned two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, bringing changes to the state’s police training and anti-corruption establishments.

A. Arun (IPS: 1998) has been shifted from his role as Additional Director General of Police and Director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai, to take over as Additional Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu Police Academy (TNPA), Chennai.

At the same time, Mrs C. Mageshwari (IPS: 2004), who is serving as Inspector General of Police, Special Investigation Cell-I, Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, has been assigned the additional responsibility of ADGP and Director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption until further orders.

The latest IPS postings are part of the Tamil Nadu government’s periodic administrative realignment aimed at ensuring effective leadership across critical policing and vigilance institutions.
