Three IPS officers in Tamil Nadu have been assigned new roles. K. S. Narenthiran Nayar has been appointed as Inspector General (IG), Establishment, in the Director General of Police (DGP) office, Chennai. Mrs. S. Lakshmi has taken over as IG, Idol Wing CID, Chennai, while Pravesh Kumar has been appointed as IG/Additional Commissioner, Law & Order, North Greater Chennai.
