Telangana announces major reshuffle of IPS officers

The Telangana Government has carried out a significant reshuffle, assigning new roles to nearly three dozen IPS officers across the state. As part of the changes, Devendra Singh Chauhan has been posted as ADG (Personnel) with additional responsibility of ADG, Multizone-II. Ms. J. Parimala Hana Nutan Jacob has taken charge as DIG, CID, Hyderabad, while Dr. Chetana Mylabathula has been appointed Deputy Director, RBVRR, TGPA, Hyderabad.

Several district and zonal postings have also been made. K. Narayana Reddy is the new DCP, Maheshwaram Zone, and Mrs. P. V. Padmaja has been posted as SP, Administration, Anti-Narcotics Bureau. Dr. Patil Sangramsingh Ganapatrao will serve as SP, Nagarkurnool, while Khare Kiran Prabhakar takes charge as DCP, South Zone. Other key appointments include Chennuri Rupesh as DCP, SM & IT, Dr. Shabarish P as SP, Mahabubabad, Ms. Nitika Pant as SP, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, R. Giridhar as SP, TG Anti-Narcotics Bureau, Ms. Sneha Mehra as SP, Vikarabad, and Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath as DCP, Task Force.

Further postings include Kekan Sudhir Ramnath as SP, Mulugu, Sirisetti Sankeerth as SP, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Patil Kantilal Subhash as ADC to Governor, B. Ram Reddy as DCP, Peddapally (Ramagundam), and Sridhar as DCP, Malkajgiri (Rachakonda). Many officers have received additional SP and SDPO-level assignments, including Avinash Kumar, Ms. Kajal, Ms. Sheshadrini Reddy Suruconti, Shivam Upadhyaya, Rajesh Meena, Ms. P. Mounika, Manan Bhat, Ruthwik Saik Kotte, Ms. Yadav Vasundhara Faurebi, S. Sreenivas, Ms. D. Sunitha, and K. Gunasekhar, who now serves as DCP, Crime, Rachakonda.

This widespread reshuffle aims to strengthen administrative efficiency and operational leadership across Telangana’s police machinery.
