Senior IAS officer Sanjay Rastogi, from the 1991 batch of the Odisha cadre, has been appointed as the new Director General of the National Archives of India under the Ministry of Culture. He will hold the position in the rank of Additional Secretary, bringing with him decades of administrative expertise.
