In a significant development in senior bureaucratic appointments, the Government of India has empaneled ten officers for the post of Joint Secretary. The officers included in the latest empanelment are B Sriramachandra Murty, Ashwin Kotnis, Anand Chekkilla, Prem Chand Lochab, Satish Kumar, Sumit Garg, Vipin Pal Singh, Amit Sinha, Brijesh Kumar Pandey, and Vinamra Mishra.

This empanelment makes them eligible to take up key Joint Secretary–level roles across various ministries and departments of the Government of India. In these positions, they are expected to play a crucial role in policy formulation, administrative decision-making, and the implementation of major government initiatives, further strengthening senior-level governance at the Centre.
