The Government of India has extended the tenures of several senior officers. Rakesh Mittal will continue as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, along with Satyajit Mohanty whose term in the same ministry is also extended. Similarly, Mahendra Kumar’s tenure as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Labour has been prolonged. Additionally, Bhagwat Chaudhari will continue as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs.
