In another significant administrative decision, three IPS officers belonging to the AGMUT cadre have been transferred from Delhi to the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K).
The senior officials transferred to J&K include:
Sukant Shailja Ballabh, IPS
Krishan Kumar, IPS
Kamal Pal Singh Malhotra, IPS
The transfer order for Krishan Kumar will become effective on April 1, 2026. These IPS transfers are expected to bolster the administrative and security structure in the region.
