Three IPS officers in Punjab assigned to new strategic roles

In a recent administrative development, the Government of Punjab has announced new postings for three senior IPS officers.
Dr. S. Bhoopathi has been appointed as the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Provisioning, Chandigarh, while Gurdial Singh takes over as IGP, Intelligence, SAS Nagar. Additionally, Sukhwant Singh Gill has been posted as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Ferozepur Range.
These new appointments are part of the state’s ongoing effort to strengthen law enforcement and intelligence operations across key regions.
